Mama

We have approval for a few minutes at a time to put on him a speaking valve. Here he is playing with it and using his finger with out it.

Waited 3 years to hear MAMA!!!!!!! Tears of Joy!!!

Gabriel

I started this Blog to chronicle Gabriels life and that of his family. Gabriel was born 7 weeks early and at that time we found out he had Down Syndrome. He was born with alot of others issuses and after 5mos in the NICU he went home on a vent, oxygen, trach and gtube. After 8 mos home he went into the PICU at 1 year old to fight AML m-7 leukemia and after many complications, ARDS and only 2 treatments of chemo we brought him home. We have been told if it returns there is no more that can be done. Thats why I started this blog- its a way for me to journal,vent and share our joy/trials.
