Gabriel

We finally got frames for these two beautiful pictures. The one on the Left had one til I broke it. Oops. So this is the second frame.

OK- the picture on the left is of Gabriel. It is taken in his NICU crib with Eric holding him. It was taken Feb 10,2009 and he wasn't due til the Feb 26th (Born Jan 9). As you see here he was on High Flow Oxygen Nasal Cannula and had a NG (nose) feeding tube. Days after this he would go onto CPAP and then be reintubated. On Feb 26 he would have a surgery to try and open up his airway more and then on March 9, 2009 he was finally G-tubed and trached. We also made birth annoucements with this picture and a special message inside. If you didn't get one and want one let me know I have plenty.

The picture on the right is also on the side of this blog. It is his March for Babies poster from the walk at DHMC on June 12,2010. They both proudly hang in his room. We still have to convert it from being the kitchen.
